We process personal data only where this is necessary to provide this website, communicate with visitors, fulfil contractual or pre-contractual obligations, comply with legal duties or protect legitimate interests. The applicable legal framework includes the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and German data-protection law.

3. Hosting and server log files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may automatically process technical data such as the IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and access status. This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted in accordance with the hosting provider’s retention settings unless longer storage is required for security or legal reasons.

4. Contact by email or telephone

When you contact us, the information you provide is processed to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or perform a contract. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for general enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain correspondence only for as long as required for the enquiry, contractual documentation or statutory retention obligations.

5. Cookies, consent and local storage

This website uses a consent manager. Your privacy selection is stored locally in your browser under the key wr71_consent_v1 so that the website can remember it. This storage is technically necessary for managing and documenting your choice. Optional categories such as analytics, marketing and external media are disabled by default and may only be activated after your consent. You can change or withdraw your selection at any time by using the “Privacy Settings” link in the footer. At the time of this update, the website does not actively use analytics or marketing tools and does not automatically embed YouTube or Spotify content.

6. External links and media platforms

The website links to services such as YouTube. A connection to those providers is established only after you click the relevant link. Their own privacy policies and processing practices then apply. WR71Records has no control over processing performed by those external platforms.

7. Planned mastering upload service

The displayed WR71 Instant Master upload area is currently a non-functional preview and does not transmit audio files. Before the upload, payment or customer-account functions are activated, this privacy policy must be expanded to name the storage, payment, processing and delivery providers, retention periods, data locations and applicable contractual safeguards.

8. Recipients and processors

Personal data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf, particularly hosting and email providers. Data is shared with other recipients only where this is necessary to perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, protect legitimate interests or where consent has been given.

9. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, disclosure or access. Website transmission should be encrypted using HTTPS.
